The 10th Annual Fishing Fest supporting the Children's Hospital of the King's Daughters is fast approaching! On Friday, June 21, 2013 boats will depart into the Chesapeake Bay for a half day of fishing and fun alongside your favorite radio personalities from: Z104, 94.9 The Point, 95.7 R&B, and 2WD.

Busch Gardens Williamsburg Food & Wine Festival
Take a delicious tour of the world’s most beautiful theme park at the Busch Gardens® Food & Wine Festival. This all-new event will feature sample-sized portions of superb foods, wines and other refreshments not usually found at Busch Gardens. Dates: Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from May 31 - June 23 Time: 11 a.m. until one hour before park closing Admission to the festival is included with park admission, and individual tastings range in price from $3-$7.

Norfolk Jazz Festival
Cool Jazz and warm summer nights return to Downtown Norfolk, Virginia at the Hampton Roads region’s longest running outdoor Jazz Festival! Starting Friday July 19 and continuing through Sunday July 21, 2013, guests will chill to the sounds of smooth jazz at Town Point Park along the Elizabeth River in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia. This musical weekend features Jazz greats including Kirk Whalum, Rick Braun & Norman Brown appearing as BWB on Friday, July 19th. On Saturday, July 20th, Jonathan Butler, Sheila E & Elan Trotman take the stage as Souls of Summer. To round out the impressive line-up, well known local jazz musicians The Jae Sinnett Trio will kick off the newly added Sunday July 21st date with Stanley Jordan bringing the weekends’ festivities to a close! Individual tickets are on sale now online at www.festevents.org or visit the Festevents Box Office at 120 West Main Street in Downtown Norfolk, Virginia. Box Office is open 9am to 5pm Monday through Friday. Discount group tickets (10 or more) are on sale by contacting RiceC@festevents.org. Wave Warriors Surf Camp Salt Water Treatment is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing a fun and therapeutic family weekend getaway in Virginia Beach for injured service members and their families. Inspired by a similar Billabong camp operating in California, Wave Warriors was launched by local surfing aficionados Ken Hunt and Jason Borte after recognizing that riding the waves delivers a unique and empowering experience.
