HEY IT'S WOO WOO! And that's me in the pic above...standing beside my AWESOMEMike Duman Lexus. Isn't it a H-O-T car. Mike Duman Auto Sales has a car for everyone - and this car is for ME! Atleast for the week. HA! Yesterday I drove this little Lexus to lunch at Azar's in Ghent. My husband McCoy & I were meeting with our real estate agent about houses. We are looking for a HOUSE. ByeBye condo living. What I really love about this Lexus is how smooth of a ride it is! It's fast, but smooth. And even though it was a sunny day in Norfolk yesterday, there was still a breeze...so I turned the heated seats on. I loooooove heated seats. I swear I would leave them on 24/7. After lunch - I zipped over to Walgreens and had to REVERSE into the tiniest parking spot I have ever seen. OMG!! Seriously - some people do not know how to park. Thankfully - the Lexus has a camera that comes up on the dash board to show you what you are backing into. How cool of a feature is that?!? After work today I have a bunch of errands to run & a doctors appointment at 2:15pm on First Colonial Road. If you see me in my Mike Duman Lexus - HONK & WAVE!! HA! IT'S MONDAY! And that means the beginning of another week at work & the beginning of another week of driving a new car from MIKE DUMAN AUTO. She was a FASSSSSSSST car! Loved driving that Infiniti. McCoy & I took her out for date night and when the valet parked us, HE even commented on the car. I was worried he was gonna steal it!! For real! It had AUTOMATIC START too. It was like driving James Bond's car. HA! I mean - a car that starts with just the touch of a button. WOW!! Pretty awesome. And it was awesomely priced...if ya' know what I mean. ;)
Soooo...now do you understand why I love Mondays?! HA! I have NO idea what they will bring me to drive this Monday. Another sexy sedan? A Hybrid? A soccer-mom suburban? Happy Tuesday! I hope you all had a wonderful Easter. It was Maggie's 2nd Easter...but really, last year - she was all of 4 weeks old!! HA! So we didn't really "do it up". But this year - this year was AWESOME. Maggie net the Easter Bunny at VanWyck Library in Norfolk. She went to an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday. And she started walking. YES - WALKING!!! GO MAGS, GO! It's that time of year again...time to clean out your closets & donate to GOODWILL!!
Chuck & I look forward to this every year. Not only do we get to de-clutter and organize our closets, we also get to give to a good cause. We love GOODWILL! Chuck has a video of his clean out posted on the Point website. You won't believe what he found at the bottom of the closet. HA! And while I try to figure out how to up-load my video (apparently videos shot with iPhones that need to be uploaded to non-Mac computers are headaches!!! Grrrr!!!) I thought I would share some pics of my closet. Be sure to CLICK HERE and check out Goodwill's website for more info & donation locations. I went thru EVERY closet in our tiny condo...it's amazing how much stuff a family of 3 in a 1,000 square foot condo can accumulate. WOW!! Here's the rundown of closets I cleaned...

And best of all - I have NO idea what kind of car it is. It's like a GRAB BAG! I love surprises. Especially when they involve shiny new toys with 4 wheels & that new car smell.

I'm sure you've heard by now that...I am a SLOB! Yep - I said it. I am a human tornado. When I walk in the front door, I throw my jacket on the back of the chair, diaper bag on the counter & shoes in the bathroom. It drives my husband crazy!! He always tells me to put the stuff away where it belongs - in the closet!! But I haaaaate my closet. It's cheap. It's un-organized. It lacks function. And the lighting is horrible. ENTER JOYCE FROM CLOSET FACTORY...
Joyce is a very talented Closet Factory designer. She has worked with them for 5 years, and last week - I let her in my house. And closet. I was soo embarassed, but I really trust Joyce to design closets that work with our lives. I feel like our current closets work AGAINST us. I mean - when Joyce measured McCoy's closet...she told us we were jipped 2 inches by the builder. YEP! He cut our closets short. Which is why McCoy's dress shirts are crammed in the closet & ALWAYS wrinkled. Can you believe that?! My new BFF Joyce measured all 3 closets...McCoy's, Maggie's & mine. She then sat down & for 4 hours - we discussed what WE want to see in our closets. She asked what we needed space for, do we want a mirror, a tie rack, etc. She really listened & helped us design the BEST closets that will work & grow with our family. No need to buy a bigger house - we have automatically gained more space!! YAHOO! Thanks Joyce. Give it about 6 weeks...and our new closets will be installed. I will be sure to share pics.
