This weekend was a lot of fun! Friday I thought I was coming down with the yuckiness that everyone else at the station has been getting, but luckily some rest and 4 gartorades later I felt fine. I ended up having to stop by the 3rd annual hampton roads tattoo convention and it was awesome! I've never been to a tattoo convention before but it was a neat experience! It was really neat to interview some nationally recognized tattoo artist and learn why they are so passionate about tattooing and what got them involved in such an alternative form of art.
The tattoo community is like a society, with a bunch of different socities in it (if that makes any sense) A majority of these people I met all fell in love with the medium of art and have made themselves very successfull from it. And the people that have the tattoos (instead of giving them) come from all different walks of life.
After the convention on friday I made a video, which I shared on my last post if you want to check that out. Saturday was FISHING DAY! We had an alright day, we did find the honey hole though in the lake we life on and we were bringing in those fishies one after another. Kyles brother joined us on this trip and he ended up having a good time as well. Lets just say im excited for the warm weather to come because fishing in the cold is not always the most delightful experience.
Then Sunday was the usually family day :) Probably my most favorite day of the week!
