'Argo,' 'Les Miserables' win best-pic Globes
"Les Miserables" won 3 Golden Globes and "Argo" 2. Homeland was Best TV Series Drama. Les Miserables, Homeland & Game Change won 3 Globes each. Jodie Foster was honored for Lifetime Achievement. Hosts Amy Poehler and Tina Fey were charming and funny.
Bill Clinton gets a standing O at Golden Globes
A big surprise during Golden Globes last night: President Bill Clinton came out to describe one of the nominated films, the Steven Spielberg-directed "Lincoln." Amy Poehler gushed afterward, "Wow, what an exciting special guest! That was Hillary Clinton's husband!"

The Twitter account of the Golden Globes posted the names of the winners before they were announced on TV. Most were posted a minute before the announcement aired. The wins by Ben Affleck and Hugh Jackman were tweeted 4 minutes before the envelopes were opened.

Justin Timberlake last night released his long-awaited comeback single, "Suit & Tie." He also unveiled the title of his next album in an open letter to fans. "The 20/20 Experience" will be arriving later this year. His last release was the 2006 blockbuster "FutureSex/LoveSounds."
Lady Gaga Splits Pants During First Night Of North American Tour
The North American leg of Lady Gaga's tour got off to a rough start Friday. She was in Vancouver, Canada. During a performance of Heavy Metal Lover, her Versace latex bodysuit burst, exposing her backside. She continued her routine, climbing on her set motorcycle.
Britney Spears to do show in Las Vegas, calls off engagement
Britney Spears has almost locked down a deal to do a Celine Dion-type show in Las Vegas. She is working with the Caesar group properties on the deal. She is expected to be paid more than $100M a year. She’s also called off her engagement to finance Jason Trawick.

Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are planning a commitment ceremony. They will proclaim their love in front of family and friends while she waits for her divorce from Kris Humphries. Kanye will whisk her off to Italy for a long weekend after a bash in Malibu.

Miss New York Mallory Hagan Saturday was named Miss America 2013. She plans to use her scholarship award to pursue a degree in cosmetics and fragrance marketing. Miss South Carolina Ali Rogers was runner-up, and Miss Oklahoma Alicia Clifton was second runner-up.

Stevie Wonder has received letters from the State of California. He’s been slapped with two separate tax liens. He owes $40 to the government. The collection costs and penalties add up to $98. Total amount: $138. He earned that in music royalties in about 30 seconds.

Tribute concert held for Clarence Clemons
The late E Street Band saxophonist Clarence Clemons was honored by his son and fellow musicians at a sold-out show in Asbury Park, N.J. Saturday. He died June 18, 2011 of complications caused by a stroke. He would have turned 71 on Friday.

"Saturday Night Live" comedian Jason Sudeikis has proposed to actress Olivia Wilde after dating for just over a year. The coupe began dating in November 2011 and moved in together last year. So far there is no word of when the wedding will take place.
