Chuck (full name Chuck Doud), started his career in broadcast at the age of fourteen while growing up in the suburbs of New York City.  Now, a 'couple of years later', he laughs, Chuck is the father of two children, Charlie and Theresa.  In 2012 will commemorate over a decade with 94.9 The Point.

Chuck enjoys writing, camping, and being involved with community events such as The Morning Point's annual Radiothon for Children's Hospital of The Kings Daughters.  For Chuck, it's more than being a funny guy...but it sure helps when listeners get to laugh AND hear great music every morning.  Yes...The Morning Point is funny... AND plays music!  What a Bonus!

"You're more likely to find me hanging out with people who listen to The Morning Point than just being that guy on the radio," Chuck says.   "I like getting to know everyone who supports the station; that's what makes The Point so successful...we ASK for what our friends (listeners) want...and we give it to them," he says. "It's simple, and an amazing thing happens when you listen to people's wants...they take care of YOU in return."

When Chuck is not on air, you can usually find him at one of the local parks flying kites or on a pier fishing with his kids. "I like being a goof-ball with my kids," he says, "I spent too much time in life being serious...now I'm making up for lost time."

You can listen to Chuck and his Co-Host of ten years, Woo Woo, weekday mornings from 5am-9am here on 94.9 The Point.  Tune in for a refreshing, fun, and entertaining ride in...It's The Morning Point...and it works!

On the air in Hampton Roads since 2005, Barry used to vacation here with his family when he was a kid. He, his wife and two daughters have fallen in love with life at the Beach! "From radio stops in Houston to Seattle to Baltimore, Hampton Roads is the best" says Barry!  "We love the Ocean!"

Barry loves to read and watch movies. " I always get two movies to watch.. The first one is the one my wife wants to watch...but she always falls asleep during her movie so I get up and put in my movie. This is one of the secrets of a good marriage. (uh, guys are you taking notes?)  And I like the Surround Sound to be really loud. If the movie scene is showing an explosion...I want to feel it. I want it to spill my Coke!

Barry is also into wellness and nutrition. "The things we eat, the things we drink, have a profound effect on how long we'll live and how healthy we feel." (I still eat my favorite food though..Pizza...I've tried interventions, re-hab, etc. but I can't help it. I must have Pizza) I have a super vitamin regimen that really changed my life!

Each Thursday afternoon, Barry morphs into “Baby Man” and predicts the gender of your unborn Baby with “100% accuracy on the radio” (who knew?!) You can reach the Baby Man at 757-490-9490. "I love being the Baby Man. I get the month of conception and the age of the mother when the baby is born. With that I can predict the sex of the baby!

Guys listen, too. “It’s like having the other side’s playbook” and “Kim’s hot, she’s fun, she’s like the girl in the sports bar who understands football.” Real comments from real guys who listen to her hear what their girlfriends and wives are saying.

Kim now calls Austin, Texas home, and she loves the city known for being the Live Music Capitol of the World. But Kim’s personal background and professional career are so like those of other upwardly mobile women it isn’t hard to understand why her show reflects so many different kinds of listeners.

“My roots are in Boise, Idaho,” Kim says. “My American dad and my Vietnamese mom actually married without being able to communicate with each other! Three years later, I was born and they divorced. My dad raised me by himself and bought me a lot of “boy” stuff. Boys have better toys anyway, so it was all for the best. It was from my dad that I learned some important life lessons.

Dad taught me that I could do anything I wanted. And I tried lots of things. I am a jazz drummer, a snowboarder, and a tri-athlete. I started studying music in college, but the whole marching band thing wasn’t me, so I changed gears and finished my 6-year Plan degree in Philosophy.”

All that time to think about thinking led Kim to try Radio and Television on both coasts. Kim says, “I loved living in New York City and being a TV reporter and host there. The vibe of the city runs through everything and everyone 24/7, and the people work hard and play hard. The food is unmatched anywhere in the world, and the shopping! Don’t get me started! But you can’t beat the mountains out west for snowboarding, or the sun on the west coast!”

Kim’s show rolls all of her experience “And men, lot’s of men” into a program about life, love, relationships and reality, with a meaningful blend of pop music, fashion and food. If you’re talking about it, your girlfriend Kim Iverson is, too. Meet Kim on the radio tonight,10 PM to Midnight, during Your Time with Kim Iversen.
