Jolie surprises CinemaCon to tout 'Unbroken'
Angelina Jolie appeared at CinemaCon in Las Vegas last night. She revealed footage from the upcoming survival saga "Unbroken," which she directed and produced. The film, about a man’s survival in WWII, was shot in Sydney last year. It’s to be released in December.
Funeral held for L'Wren Scott in California
L'Wren Scott was mourned yesterday at a small, private funeral in Los Angeles. It was attended by family, friends & her longtime companion, Mick Jagger. Scott, both a designer and a longtime stylist, passed away March 17 in NY. She was cremated, per her wishes.
Gwyneth Paltrow, Chris Martin announce separation
Gwyneth Paltrow & Chris Martin are separating after 11 years of marriage. They were married in 2003 & have 2 children: daughter Apple (9) and son Moses (7). They frequently accompanied each other to public events, but rarely posed together on red carpets.

R&B singer/songwriter Tameka 'tiny' Cottle blames a finger injury for failing to wear her wedding ring. There are ongoing rumors her marriage to rapper T.I. is on the rocks. They have been appearing at public events solo. The couple began dating in 2001 & wed in 2010.
Taylor Swift granted restraining order against man
A man accused of harassing Taylor Swift and threatening to harm her family has been ordered to stay away for 3 years. Court filings by Swift state Timothy Sweet sent threatening messages to her. He did not attend yesterday’s hearing.
Rihanna Puts $15 Million California Mansion On The Market
Rihanna has put her trouble-plagued California mansion on the market 5 months after relocating to New York. Her former home is available for a little under $15 million. She now lives in a SoHo penthouse in Manhattan.
Investigators: Unsafe speed caused Walker crash
It was speed that killed "Fast & Furious" star Paul Walker on a Los Angeles street Nov 30. Investigators say the Porsche he was a passenger in was traveling between 81 and 94 mph when it hit a pole & burst into flames. He and friend & driver Roger Rodas died at the scene.
Fox's 'American Idol' hits rating low
"American Idol" reached its smallest viewing audience last week since its rookie season in the summer of 2002. Thursday's edition reached 8.4 million viewers. Industry analysts blame viewer fatigue. NBC's "The Voice" is now viewers' favorite music competition show.
'American Idol' winner David Archuleta returns from 2-year Mormon mission
David Archuleta left his musical career behind for a two-year mission to Chile through the Mormon Church. The 23-year-old singer became American Idol's 7th-season runner-up back in 2008. He has announced his return home in a short video posted to his YouTube channel.
Kris Jenner target of alleged extortion over tape
Kris Jenner has been bombarded by someone claiming to have an explicit tape who wants a payoff. She claims extortion and wants the person caught. She also wants to know how he got their number. Kris says there is no such tape. Deputies have launched an investigation.
Robin Roberts and Ricky Martin to Guest Judge on 'Dancing With the Stars'
Robin Roberts will be a guest judge on "Dancing with the Stars" next week. Julianne Hough, a former pro dancer on the show, will return as a guest judge on April 7. Other guest judges this season include singer Ricky Martin and LMFAO's member Redfoo.
Judge Joe Brown believes jail time was a conspiracy
Judge Joe Brown is still mad about being arrested in Memphis court Monday. He believes the judge in a child support case conspired to keep him there longer. Joe is running for D.A. of Shelby County. He was jailed 3 hours and saw a few former clients.
Tiger that injured Roy of Siegfried & Roy dies
The white tiger that injured illusionist Roy Horn on a Las Vegas stage in 2003 has died. Mantecore was 17. The tiger died from an illness March 19. Horn was left partially paralyzed. He refused to have the tiger put down, and was with him when he passed.
Patrick Dempsey's Mother Loses Cancer Battle
Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey is mourning the death of his mother. She lost her battle with ovarian cancer yesterday. Amanda Dempsey was 79, and battled the disease many times since her initial diagnosis in 1997. The family’s home is Lewiston, Maine.
Flavor Flav Traffic Case Postponed
Rap veteran Flavor Flav's traffic and drug case has been postponed until May 16. He was pulled for speeding en route to his mother's funeral in Long Island in January. He was arrested for 16 suspensions on his license. He was conditionally released on probation.
