Piers Morgan's talk show is ending
CNN's prime-time talk show "Piers Morgan Live" is coming to an end. He succeeded Larry King in the 9 p.m. time slot three years ago. His future with CNN is undetermined. He believes Americans were tired of hearing a Brit weigh in on American cultural issues.
'LEGO' takes box office for third straight weekend
"The LEGO Movie" led the box office for the third weekend with $31.4 million. "3 Days to Kill" with Kevin Costner was a distant second with $12.3 million. "Pompeii" was third with $10.million; "RoboCop" 4th with $9.4 million; "The Monuments Men" fifth with $8.1 million.
Seth Myers ready to keep insomniacs awake on NBC’s Late Night
Last Monday it was Jimmy Fallon. Tonight, Seth Meyers steps into the spotlight, as he takes over NBC’s Late Night at 12:37 a.m. He plans to bring his own style to Late Night. He’s the show’s 4th host, following in the footsteps of David Letterman, Conan O’Brian and Fallon.
Brooke Burke-Charvet booted from 'DWTS'
Brooke Burke-Charvet won't return as co-host of "Dancing With the Stars." She co-hosted with Tom Bergeron for 7 seasons. Prior to that she was one of the show's professional dance contestants. Erin Andrews will be the new co-host when DWTS returns March 17.
'12 Years a Slave' wins four awards at NAACP Image Awards
Kevin Hart was named Entertainer of the Year at the NAACP Image Awards. He dedicated the prize to his mother, who recently passed away. "12 Years a Slave" won four awards. Forest Whitaker was honored with the NAACP Chairman's Award.
The Voice back tonight with blind auditions
The 6th season of The Voice returns to NBC tonight with judges Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Shakira & Usher. The Voice beat Idol last spring among young adults, and knocked out Fox’s recently canceled The X Factor. Still, The Voice hasn't produced a major star.

Miley Cyrus and Katy Perry locked lips in front of a sold-out Los Angeles crowd. The kiss occurred during Miley’s 'Bangerz' concert at the Staples Center Saturday night. She was performing 'Adore You.' "I just kissed a girl and I liked it," Miley said to the crowd.

Paula Deen held a cooking demonstration at the South Beach Wine and Food Festival in Miami Sunday. She apologized for past indiscretions and added, "I am not a quitter." Paula Deen Ventures will oversee her restaurants, cookbooks and product endorsements.

Kiss says it won't play at Rock HOF induction
The band Kiss has decided not to perform at their Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction. There’s a dispute over who should be there…the original members, or the new ones. They will not all perform together. Kiss began in 1973. The induction is April 10 in NYC.

Sam Worthington, star of the 2009 film 'Avatar,' is facing criminal charges after getting arrested in NYC. He punched out a paparazzo that kicked his girlfriend in the shin. The photographer was charged with assault. Worthington was given a Feb. 26 court date.

The Atlanta neighborhood Justin Beiber plans to live in wants him out. They don’t want his behavior or lifestyle influencing their children. Justin is renting a house from rap mogul Dallas Austin. The neighbors have started a petition to have Beiber evicted.
Justin Bieber Rejects Plea Deal In DUI Case Over Random Drug Test
Justin Bieber is rejecting a plea deal over his DUI arrest in Miami in January. It includes community service, a class on alcohol abuse, and random drug testing. He will not accept any deal that includes probation. The case goes to trial on March 3rd.
Eminem & Rihanna To Tour Together In August
Eminem and Rihanna recently took "The Monster" to the top of the Hot 100. Now, the pair will hit the road together for The Monster Tour this August. They’re confirmed for New York, Los Angeles, & Detroit. They had a No. 1 hit together with "Love The Way You Lie" in 2010.

NBC's 'Heroes' 'reborn' in 13-episode event
NBC's sci-fi series Heroes is being revived as a 13-episode limited series. The series, which aired from 2006-2010, will return in 2015 as Heroes Reborn. The characters and plots will be introduced in a digital series that will precede the premiere.

Maria von Trapp, the last surviving singing member of the von Trapp family, has died at her home in Vermont. She was 99. Her family’s story was featured in the Oscar-winning musical, "The Sound of Music." She was one of 7 children. She was named after her mother.
NBC orders Jennifer Lopez cop drama
NBC has ordered 13 episodes of a new cop drama starring Jennifer Lopez. "Shades of Blue" will feature Lopez as a single mother and dirty cop recruited to work for the FBI's undercover anti-corruption task force. The show will air in the 2015-16 season.
