New Movies In Theatres This Weekend:
The Lego Movie (animated) - An ordinary LEGO minifigure, mistakenly thought to be the extraordinary MasterBuilder, is recruited to join a quest to stop an evil LEGO tyrant from gluing the universe together. Features an all-star cast of voices led by of Chris Pratt, Morgan Freeman, Will Arnett, and Elizabeth Banks. Rated PG.
The Monuments Men - An unlikely World War II platoon is tasked to rescue art masterpieces from Nazi thieves and return them to their owners. Stars George Clooney, Matt Damon, Bill Murray, Cate Blanchett and John Goodman. Rated PG-13.
Vampire Academy - Rose Hathaway is a half human/vampire living discretely within our world. Her legacy is to protect the Moroi from bloodthirsty, immortal Vampires, the Strigoi. This is her story. Stars Zoey Deutch and Lucy Fry. Rated PG-13.
After 22 years, Leno bids farewell to 'Tonight'
What a run! And a sad farewell ... Jay Leno left "The Tonight Show" last night after 22 years. It included monologue jokes, clips from old shows, and an assortment of celebrities. President Obama offered him a job, as U.S. ambassador to Antarctica. Jimmy Fallon takes over "Tonight" in NYC February 17th.
Leno’s network debut was bumped…by Richard Nixon
Jay Leno last night told how he was poised to make his network debut on Dean Martin's show in 1974. That night, President Richard Nixon resigned in the Watergate scandal. Leno's appearance didn't happen. Leno quipped, "Making me the last guy screwed by Nixon."

The mother of a 16-year-old American Idol hopeful blasted her daughter's group members. The teen was dumped from the competition. Church singer Tiquila Wilson quit. And Harry Connick Jr. “quit” & flipped the bird at shocked hopefuls. 77 contestants return next week.
Prosecutors consider vandalism case against Bieber
L.A. County sheriff's investigators have presented evidence to prosecutors for a possible felony vandalism case against Justin Bieber. He’s under investigation for eggs thrown at his neighbor's home last month. The district attorney will decide if Bieber will be charged.
Fashion Week: Slushy streets, boots on the runways
New York welcomed Fashion Week amid icy sidewalks, crosswalks piled high with slush and temperatures in the 20s. Dedicated fashionistas wore boots rather than stiletto pumps. Last night’s kickoff featured celebrities in red dresses to draw awareness to heart disease.
Manhattan funeral home hosts wake for Hoffman
Mourning for Philip Seymour Hoffman continued as family and close friends paid their respects at a wake in Manhattan last night. A private funeral for relatives and close friends of Hoffman is set for today. A larger memorial service will be held later this month.
Queen to play with Adam Lambert on summer tour
Queen is expected to play gigs in America this summer with Adam Lambert. He would be replacing the late Freddie Mercury as frontman. They have performed together in the past. Queen members Brian May and Roger Taylor said fans still want to hear their music live.
Leonard Nimoy Suffering From Chronic Lung Disease
Leonard Nimoy is suffering from a severe lung disease. He’s best known as 'Spock' in the original 'Star Trek.' He is 82. He said he quit smoking 30 years ago, but even then, it was too late. He told smokers to quit before it’s too late, and 'Live Long And Prosper."

Charlie Sheen has threatened to beat up Ashton Kutcher. Ashton was a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live. He blasted Sheen for harassing him on Twitter for the past 3 years. Sheen apologized, then later told Kutcher he would “put you on a hospital food diet for a year.”
Oprah Winfrey In Talks To Make Broadway Debut
Oprah Winfrey is in talks to make her Broadway debut in the acclaimed play 'Night, Mother. She would portray a desperate mom trying to talk her daughter out of committing suicide. She and the lead producer are working on a Broadway revival of musical The Color Purple.
Janet Jackson's New York Pad On The Market For $35,000-A-month
Janet Jackson is hoping to land a $35,000-a-month cash boost after putting her New York apartment up for lease. The sprawling three-bedroom pad is on the 34th floor of the Trump International tower. She bought it in 1998. The online listing vanished on Thursday.
