'Katie' canceled after two seasons

Katie Couric’s syndicated talk show will end in June after two seasons. She said she looks forward to the rest of the season. The show was canceled because its ratings didn't justify its production costs. Couric starts a new job as the global anchor for Yahoo! early next year.

CBS plans to air its series finale for the sitcom "How I Met Your Mother" March 31. The series has run 208 episodes over nine seasons. The story of how Ted Mosby ultimately meets his children's mother will conclude with a special 1-hour series finale.
