Box office: 'Despicable Me 2' wins

The minions of "Despicable Me 2" ran away with the July 4th box office. The animated sequel took in $82M over the weekend. “The Lone Ranger” was blown away, earning only $29M. “The Heat” took in $25M at #3. The minions will get their own spin-off in 2014.

Man who grabbed celebrity chef wife by the throat divorcing her

Remember the photo last month of art collector Charles Saatchi clutching wife Nigella Lawson by the throat in a London restaurant? He’s now divorcing her for not “defending his reputation.” She is a celebrity chef.  They married in 2003 and share a son and daughter.
