NBC scraps $25M 'Tonight' studio plans, will renovate studio instead

NBC will renovate a 30 Rock studio to house "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon" for $5 million instead of building a new one for $25 million. The show is moving from Burbank, Calif., to Manhattan next year. The revamped studio will seat 240 people instead of 189.

Too close to all: Candice barely edges out Angie and Kree on ‘Idol’

The 3 surviving women on ‘American Idol’ nailed their 3 songs. So much so, the judges were perplexed who to endorse. Candice Glover was selected the standout for her rendition of West Side Story's “Somewhere.” Alicia Keys and Lauren Alaina guest perform tonight.
