Chris Kelly, of rap duo Kris Kross, dies over overdose in Ga.

Chris Kelly, half of the 1990s kid rap duo Kris Kross, died at an Atlanta hospital Wednesday. Police believe cause of death was a drug overdose. He was 34. The duo was discovered by Jermaine Dupri in an Atlanta mall in 1992. Their biggest hit was “Jump,” #1 for 8 weeks.

LL Cool J Dedicates New Song To Chris Kelly

LL Cool J has dedicated his new song to Chris 'Mac Daddy' Kelly following the Kris Kross star's death Wednesday. His latest track, ‘Jump On It,’ will be a tribute to Kelly. He posted an audio stream on Twitter. He added, "R.I.P Chris Kelly. May God embrace your soul.”

An ad for Mountain Dew created by Tyler, the Creator has been pulled. Critics lambasted its violent undertones, with one calling it "arguably the most racist commercial in history.” PepsiCo, which owns Mountain Dew, apologized and ordered the ad pulled.

Justin Bieber plans to invest in his favorite car company. The makers of the high-performance Fisker Karma are in financial difficulty. He is considering helping out. The Fisker Karma is a hybrid powered sports car made in Finland, worth $100,000.

Beyonce kicking off US tour at festival

Beyonce will kick off her U.S. tour at the inaugural BET Experience at L.A. Live. The new three-day festival is Friday, June 28. The weekend event will lead up to the annual BET Awards June 30. Chris Tucker will host. Nominees will be announced May 14.

George Jones’ funeral today in Nashville
