'G.I. Joe' commands No. 1 at box office with $41M
After a 9-month delay, "G.I. Joe: Retaliation" deployed to the top spot at the box office. It took in $41 million this weekend. It made $80 million internationally. "The Croods" slipped to 2nd with $26 million, followed by "Tyler Perry's Temptation" at No. 3 with $22 million.
Glee's Monteith heads back to rehab for second time
Glee" star Cory Monteith is heading back to rehab. His rep confirmed last night the actor has "voluntarily admitted himself to a treatment facility for substance addiction.” He is 30, and was last in rehab for addiction in 2001 at age 19. He dates his co-star, Lea Michele.

Record producer and engineer Phil Ramone died Saturday in Manhattan. He was 79. He had a reputation as an expert craftsman and trusted artists’ confidant. He won 14 Grammy awards. His clients included Quincy Jones, Billy Joel, Aretha Franklin and Frank Sinatra.
Lindsay Lohan enjoying freedom in NYC…for now
It's been two weeks since Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in lockdown rehab. The problem: there is no lockdown rehab facility in New York. Options are regular rehab, or jail. Prosecutors are discussing what to do, but it may go back before the judge for sentencing.

Justin Bieber had to leave a monkey in quarantine after landing in Germany last Thursday. He did not have the necessary papers for the animal. He performed in Munich Thursday night, then headed to Vienna. He did not mention what happened to the monkey.

American Idol creator Simon Fuller has settled his copyright lawsuit against producers of The X Factor. The series was similar to the Idol franchise he created in both America and the U.K. Both parties have reached an undisclosed agreement and the case was dismissed.

A New York court has ordered actor Stephen Baldwin to pay $300,000 in back taxes from 2008-10. He was arrested in December for failing to file income tax returns for three years. The court waived the interest and penalties. He must pay the back taxes within 5 years.
