NBC has confirmed it's creating a new studio for Jimmy Fallon in New York. The Hollywood Reporter reports the hand-off to the Tonight Show will be made by Sept 2014. Jay Leno this week has been taking shots at NBC executives in his jokes. NBC has warned him to stop it.

A music publisher and record company are in a legal fight over Aaliyah’s songs. Reservoir Media Management filed the lawsuit against Craze Productions. Craze has been selling her songs on iTunes. Reservoir acquired the rights in 2012. Aaliyah died in 2001.

Drugs found on Rihanna's tour bus

Rihanna's tour buses were stopped and searched for drugs. She was not aboard any of them. The buses were stopped at a border crossing in Michigan. A dog detected marijuana. It was found on a passenger. He was cited with a civil penalty. The buses continued on.
