Oprah Winfrey Named Forbes' Most Influential Person
Oprah Winfrey has been named Forbes' most influential person of 2013, topping their list for the second year in a row. Just below her was Steven Spielberg. Hollywood director Martin Scorcese was third. Michael J. Fox, who came in at No. 2 last year, dropped to No. 13.
Snoop documentary 'Reincarnated' has SXSW premiere
Snoop Lion, formerly Snoop Dog, debuted his documentary “Reincarnated” at Austin’s South by Southwest last night. He emerged with the new name, a reggae album and a political agenda. He said, "Wake up. Some of these laws and rules need to be tweaked to today."
'Bachelor' couple welcomes baby girl
Jason & Molly Mesnick, who met on "The Bachelor" in 2009 and wed in 2010, welcomed a daughter, Riley Anne, on Thursday. She was born in Seattle. The only other winning couple to have children are Ryan and Trista Sutter, who wed in 2003. They have a son & daughter.
Sheryl Crow Performs At Children's Hospital
Sheryl Crow performed Thursday for sick youngsters at a Florida hospital. She paid a surprise visit to the Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital in the city of Hollywood. She sat on a stool and played a guitar. She posted a picture on Twitter.
Lil Wayne briefly hospitalized for seizures
Rapper Lil Wayne was treated at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles for multiple seizures. He fell ill Tuesday night after shooting a music video. He was released Wednesday morning. Lil Wayne has a history of seizures, and is on anti-seizure medication.
Liam Hemsworth cancels appearance at movie screening
Liam Hemsworth has cancelled next Tuesday’s appearance at his movie premiere in Tampa. He stars in “Empire State” with Emma Roberts and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson. He’s back home in Sydney, Australia, laying low with family since breaking up with Miley Cyrus.
