`Giant Slayer' scares up ho-hum $28 million debut

"Jack the Giant Slayer" won the weekend box office with just $28 million. "Identity Thief" was 2nd with $9.7 million and "21 & Over" earned $9 million. Disney's "Oz the Great and Powerful," the prequel to "The Wizard of Oz," opens next weekend.

Heidi Klum 4th judge on “Talent”

Heidi Klum has signed a last-minute deal to become the fourth judge on the upcoming season of America's Got Talent. She joins the other new judge, former Spice Girl Mel B.     The show begins taping its first audition rounds in New Orleans today to run this summer.

Kellie Pickler drummer among injured in Ky. Crash

The drummer for singer Kellie Pickler is in a hospital in Louisville, Ky. He was in a 4-car interstate accident Saturday. 36-year-old Gregg Lohman has head & neck injuries. A crash 15 minutes earlier near the same spot involving a tractor-trailer and an SUV killed 6 people.

Bobby Rogers, founder of Motown group The Miracles, dies

Bobby Rogers, a founding member of The Miracles, died Sunday at his suburban Detroit home. He was 73 and had been ill for several years. The group formed in 1956. He was a songwriting collaborator with Smokey Robinson They joined the Rock Hall of Fame last year.

Bonnie Franklin, 'One Day at a Time' star, has died at age 69

Bonnie Franklin, who starred in the sitcom "One Day at a Time," has died at age 68. She had pancreatic cancer. She played a divorced mom to Valerie Bertinelli & Mackenzie Phillips. Pat Harrington played building superintendent Schneider. The show ran from 1975 to 1984.

Justin Bieber and crew kicked out of London club

While celebrating his 19th birthday Friday, Justin Bieber and his entourage were booted from London club Cirque du Soir. The problem: some in his group were under 18. On Saturday, he donned gold gloves and metal wings to perform at Capital FM Arena.
