“Biggest Loser” and “Bachelor” return tonight: Time for a name switch?

Two reality shows return tonight for a head-to-head competition. The Biggest Loser is on NBC and The Bachelor on ABC. One is about losing weight, the other about finding love. Considering The Bachelor’s track record, maybe it should be using the other show’s title.

Smash' musical getting cast album

The Broadway show within a show on NBC's "Smash" is getting its own cast album. The 22-song cast album for “Bombshell” will be released Feb. 12. NBC premieres the drama's 2nd season a week before the album comes out. The soundtrack has music from both seasons.

Actor Thomas Gibson arrested, suspected of DUI

Police in Los Angeles arrested actor Thomas Gibson on suspicion of DUI early Sunday. He drove through a barricade set up to keep cars off the course of a night run through downtown. Gibson starred in "Criminal Minds” and "Dharma and Greg." Bail was $15,000.

Josh Brolin Fined Over Drunken Arrest

Actor Josh Brolin was fined $250 following his New Year's Day arrest for public intoxication. He was taken into custody on the streets of Santa Monica Tuesday after partying a little too hard with friends. In 2008, he was arrested for a bar fight in Shreveport, Louisiana.

The Roots Staging Prince Tribute Show For Charity

The music of Prince will be celebrated at a special benefit concert at New York's Carnegie Hall. The Roots will be the house band for a growing list of performers. The benefit is March 7 and will help fund music education programs for underprivileged kids.
