Bruce Springsteen, Lady Gaga, the Black Keys and John Mayer jammed with the Rolling Stones in New York Saturday night. Mick Jagger respectfully acknowledged the school shootings in Connecticut. He later poked fun at the senior citizen status of the band & fans.
Children's choir opens 'SNL' with 'Silent Night'
"Saturday Night Live" made a rare departure from its comedic opening. The NYC Children's Choir angelically sang "Silent Night" with the touching refrain, "Sleep in heavenly peace." They then shouted the show’s introduction. It was the only reference to the school shooting.

"Django Unchained" star Samuel L. Jackson caused a stir on "Saturday Night Live." During a skit, he mouthed what sounded like an explicit word. Kenan Thompson told him “C'mon, Sam! C'mon now! That costs money." Despite his shocked look, he denied it on Twitter.
