Video Music Awards moved up to avoid Obama speech conflict

MTV has moved up the start time for the Video Music Awards tomorrow night. It will run the show an hour earlier so as not to conflict with President Obama's speech. The VMAs will air from 8-10 p.m. The president is scheduled to speak from the DNC after 10 p.m.

Ellen Degeneres Receives Star On Hollywood Walk Of Fame

Ellen Degeneres received the latest star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame Tuesday. She invited fans on Twitter to the ceremony, then jokingly asked for a ride home. She said she was thrilled people would now be walking all over her.
