"The Dark Knight Rises" took in an estimated $160 million over the weekend. Movie studios withheld revenue reports in respect to the Friday shootings in Colorado. Weekend tallies will be released today. “Dark Knight” took in $70 million from nine of 17 other countries.

Batman ads pulled from TV, trailers edit out guns

Television networks have pulled ads for Batman because they felt it was inappropriate to run them alongside news reports of the Colorado theater shootings. Warner Bros. gave orders to edit all Batman trailers to remove images and references to guns.

'Twilight,' Swift add to Teen Choice Awards hauls

"The Twilight Saga" has won 41 Teen Choice Awards since 2008, including 2 last night. Taylor Swift picked up her 20th trophy - the most ever won by a female artist. She and Justin Bieber both won 5 awards. 134 million votes were cast for the 14th annual awards.
