Jnaury 21st 2015

Happy HumpDay! Hope you are off to a wonderful Wednesday. In Hollywood - here's what's happening:

The New Kids on the Block are going on tour! You read that right ... NKOTB is going on tour. WOO HOO!! FlashBack to the 90s. Joey Mac was my boy. The tour will also include TLC and Nelly. Love it! And grab your calendar (and your Credit Card!) NKOTB will make a concert stop in Norfolk on June 9th at SCOPE. Tickets go On Sale January 31st. Despite the fact that I will be 9 months pregnant - I will be there!

Comedy Central will roast Justin Bieber ... and then put him in between 2 Graham Crackers. HA HA! No - not really. But they will roast him. No details have been released ... other than it will be filmed in LA & comedians will roast Justin about the egging incident, his romance with Selena Gomez and his controversial Calvin Klein ads.

During the President's State of the Union address last night (I was watching 'Shark Tank' - sorry POTUS) the 1st Lady wore a gorrrrgeous Michael Kors suit. It was like black and white & totally stylish! Well one watcher realized the same suit was worn by actress Julianna Marguilles on the TV show 'The Good Wife". Michelle has really good taste! The suit retails for around $1000.

And finally - the BIG news everyone will be talking about at work today isn't HollyWood News, but it does involve a handsome quarterback with HollyWood Hair. I'm talking about Tom Brady & #DeflateGate. The NFL confirmed the Patriots played with deflated balls last week. No word from the Patriots. No word on what the fine will be. No comment from Brady...but who knew? Giselle likes deflated balls. HA!

Have a great day!

I guess this is his way of apologizing ... I still think his comments were really offfensive. Wanna read his apology? CLICK HERE

Now let's talk football ... not something I normally do in the HWW Report, but I will today because #DeflateGate is such a Hot Topic. Yesterday Tom Brady & Bill Bellichick held separate Press Conferences where they both denied knowing anything about how 11 balls were deflated during the big game last weekend. Huh? How do you not know as the Head Coach & the freakin QB not know anything? I smell fish. This is ridiculous and I don't even like football. Unless were talkin bout the COWBOYS!

Happy 41st Birthday today to actress Tiffani (dropped the Amber) Theissen - remember her from 'Saved by the Bell'? I can't believe she is 41! Insane! Where does the time go?

Here's what's happening in Hollywood ...

'American Sniper' dominated the Box Office - WOW! Did you see it? McCoy & I went Saturday night. Not only was the movie SOLD OUT (I highly recommend getting to the movies 30 minutes early & buying your tkts online) but it was just the best movie ever. I felt like I was in Iraq. It's a true story ... it's a sad story ... but damn it is an inspiring one. Chris Kyle was a bad ass dude who loved his family & his country more than anyone I have ever met. No wonder Bradley Cooper was nominated for an Oscar. The movie made $105 million at the Box Office this weekend. YOU MUST GO SEE THIS MOVIE! PS: Had no idea it was Sienna Miller who played his wife Taya. She's British - and totally nailed an American accent.

Also over the weekend - actress Ali Larter became a Mom x 2. She and her husband welcomed a baby girl named Vivian Margaret. LOVE THAT NAME! She is already mom to a 4 year old son Teddy. Congrats!!!

And if you're at work today and people are talking about Tiger Woods missing a tooth - no he didn't get clocked in the face with a golf club, more like a camera. Tiger flew to France to surprise his GF Lindsey Vonn at a World Cup Ski Event. While he was watching her ski - a cameraman backed into Tiger with his giant camera. These cameras are BIG AND HEAVY ... and they can take out teeth. But come on - you're Tiger Woods! I'm sure he flew on his private je back to the US where his hot dentist (I'm guessing she's a blonde!) met him on the tarmac with a new tooth in hand. All is good for Mr Woods.

Have a great day!

Some movies that are contenders include 'The Imitation Game', 'Big Eyes' and 'The Grand Budapest Hotel' ... I will post the entire list of nominees when it is available. Got any favorites?

Also this morning - rumor has it that Rosie Perez is OUT on 'The View' ... after only 4 months! Can you believe that? The show is tanking in the ratings ... Rosie O'Donnell is fighting with producers & ABC is rumored to be scrapping the show & replacing it with something like NBC does with Kathie Lee Gifford & Hoda Kotb. To be honest with you - I used to LOVE The View. Loved it! But I can't stand Rosie O. She is so harsh. I love Whoopi. I say keep her, hire new people & lose everyone else. Good idea, right? Hire me ABC! HIRE ME! HA HA!

TGIF! It's Friiiiiiday - finally - and it's also Dave Matthews birthday. He's 48 years awesome. And Kate Middleton - the Duchess herself - is 33 today. Happy Birthday! I wonder what you buy 2 people who literally could buy whatever the hell they wanted. Hmmm...

Sad news this morning for your Bachelor fans!! Another - ANOTHER - couple that met on the show, fell in love & got engaged have called it quits. Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray have ended their relationship. She gave back the ring. The wedding is OFF! And this came totally out of the blue because just on Monday night, they were in LA together at the new season premier of 'The Bachelor'. What in the world? My guess is someone cheated. Together on Monday & not together on Friday. Something is up ...

Speaking of The Bachelor - one of ABC's favorite Bachelorettes is pregnant! Emily Maynard (who never found love on the show) is pregnant! She ended up marrying a guy from North Carolina & they just announced they are expecting! This will be the 2nd child for the 28 year old blonde beauty. She has an 8 year old daughter Rikki with her former boyfriend Ricky Hendrick - who sadly passed away in a plane crash in 2004. Congrats Emily!

And finally this morning ...the new movie Taken 3 is in theatres today. Yes - after Taken they made a Taken 2. And now - a 3rd. That's just a little too much for me. Liam Neeson - great actor - he's still in the movie, but I'd go see The Imitation Game instead if I were you. It's playing only at the NARO in Norfolk & it is amazing. Such a great movie. I guarantee it will wine tons of Oscars. And Golden Globes! Which reminds me - Tina Fey & Amy Poehler are hosting the GGs this Sunday in LA. Let Red Carpet season begin!!!

Happy HumpDay ... and WOW is it cold outside! Tomorrow - it will be even colder with temps in the 20s. Vanessa Lachey and Nick Lachey have something to keep them warm on these cold nights - they have a NEW baby! Daughter Brooklyn Elisabeth Lachey was born on January 3rd and joins Big Brother Camden. Congrats! Also in the baby department - rumor has it that actress Blake Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds also welcomed a baby girl that they named Violet. No confirmation from her publicist, but congrats! If you order pizza - you leave a tip right? Like if you call Papa Johns or Chanellos (cheesey bread sticks!!!0 you tip the delivery guy, right? Well in LA - the Church of Scientology ordered 180 pizzas from Papa Johns. It cost $2000 and they left NO tip for the 2 delivery guys. NOTHING! The Papa Johns manager felt so bad he tipped the guys $10! But we have an update ... the Church of Scientology has now tipped the guys $300. Whew! Glad they took care of that. And now - I am craving pizza. WOW! Ya'll stay warm & Have a great day!!!

I keep wanting to type 2014 ... but it's 2015! This is gonna happen. A lot. Especially when I write checks. Wait a second ... who writes checks anymore? Anyhoo - onto more important things, like the HollyWooWoo Report. To quote the great poet Iggy Azalea, "1st things 1st I'm the realest" ... let's talk. Let's talk about this Cameron Diaz wedding that came out of nowhere! One of Hollywood's most successful actresses (single! rich! gorgeous! talented!) took herself off the market last night in LA when she married Benji Madden. He is 35. She is 42. They dated for 7 months and BOOM ... now they are married. Because I have no taste - I say she's pregnant. She has to be. Right? No ... I'm wrong. I'm rude. Don't worry - I have heard it all. I just think that's a little fast for a marriage. Do you even know anyone after 7 months? Maybe she's just soo in love and finally found the man of her dreams? Who am I to judge ... Mazel Tov! 100 guests attended the wedding - including Gwenyth Paltrow, Nicole Richie & Drew Barrymore.

Congrats also this morning to actress Blake Lively! She and her handsome hubby became parents just before the New Year. Rumor has it the baby arrived ahead of it's due date. I call the baby IT because no details were released. Is it a boy? A girl? No clue. Celebs these days ... trying to be all private and stuff. HA! PS: It was a home birth. As in on epidural. As in she is much stronger than I am. GIVE ME THE DRUGS!

And finally - he's not really a HollyWoo celeb, but he is famous. As I type this - I am still waiting to see what happens to our former Governor Bob McD. How long will he go to jail for? The story is developing out of Richmond, but I am intrigued. What happen to being an honest politician?

Happy Tuesday! I need to go to Chick Fil A now. #LunchTime

Happy New Year !! I hate to start this 1st HWW Report of the year with bad news, but it has to be known that Stuart Scott was the man. The 49 year old ESPN anchor passed away yesterday after a 7 year battle with cancer. Just tragic and sad and a life taken too soon. Even as a woman who is not a big sports fan, I knew who he was. I knew his catchphrases. I knew he adored his 2 daughters. I knew he was as cool as the other side of the pillow and he will be missed. Greatly.

Also this morning - around 3AM - Real Housewife star Teresa Giudice checked into a Conecticut prison to serve a 15 month sentence. Her attorney said she drove herself from her Jersey home to the facility. Her husband Joe will serve a 41 month sentence when she is released. For Teresa - Orange is literally her new Black.

They are letting it go ... officially! Idina Menzel (Elsa from 'Frozen') and her husband of 10 years have filed divorce papers. Taye Diggs filed the papers in an LA courthouse - they announced they were separating last year and will share custody of their 5 year old son.

And finally - Happy Birthday to Bradley Cooper ... the Hollywood A Lister turns 40 today!

PS: I saw 2 movies over the Holiday break ... 'ANNIE' and 'THE IMITATION GAME'. Go see both of them. Excellent movies, great cast of characters and the large buttered popcorn wasn't bad either.

Happy Monday!
