Betty White has a big reason to celebrate today - America's favorite Golden Girl turns 90. Her career now spans 7 decades. She plans on spending the day working on crossword puzzles and hanging out with her longtime companion - a Golden Retriever named Pontiac.

Avril Lavigne has split from Kim Kardashian's half-brother Brody Jenner. They had been dating since shortly after she split from her husband, Sum 41 rocker Deryck Whibley at the end of 2009. Word is, they both had differences over the direction of their relationship.

Taylor Swift graces the cover of Vogue's February issue. She tells the magazine her next album will be about an "absolute crash-and-burn heartbreak" she experienced. Swift says it helps her to "feel better" and gain "clarity" by writing songs about her relationships.

Football Turns Lights Out On Globes

Sunday night's telecast of the Golden Globe awards had to contend with the NFL playoff game. The NY Giants and Green Bay Packers played to 40.1M viewers. The Simpsons then held onto 15M. The Globes started with 14M but dominated the rest of the night.

David Furnish, husband of Elton John, expressed outrage regarding Madonna's win for Best Original Song at the Golden Globe Awards. She won for "Masterpiece" from "W.E." Furnish took to Facebook shortly after to condemn Madonna's win and her acceptance speech.

Kasey Kahl Arrested for Drunk and Disorderly Conduct

Former Bachelor Pad and Bachelorette star Kasey Kahl was arrested early Sunday in Fresno. He and some friends were allegedly drunk & disorderly outside a club. He was booked and released a few hours later. Police called it the prettiest mug shot they’ve ever seen.
